At the end of a quiet dirt road, tucked just outside the small town of
Soap Lake, Washington - you’ll find a flower field called Dirt Road Dahlias.
This is where a dream, a love of flowers and a whole
lot of dirt under the fingernails work
came together to grow something beautiful.

Dirt Road & Dahlia Dreams

Hi! I’m Victoria Buchanan but most people know me as Torrie!

I’m a proud mom of two amazing kids; Kaden and Olivia and I have been married for more than two decades. Our life has always been rooted in family, hard work, and the land around us.

I grew up on a farm just northeast of Soap Lake, and today I’m lucky enough to live just up the road from where I was raised. Growing up surrounded by open land and big skies gives you a deep appreciation for beauty that comes from the soil.

About Me

The idea for Dirt Road Dahlias really began with a gift from my dad.

Knowing how much I loved flowers, he surprised me with a little flower truck for the flower field I always talked about. That simple gesture sparked something bigger and pushed the dream into motion.

Soon after, I found myself diving deep into the world of dahlias and discovering just how incredible these flowers really are.

How it Started

With the help from my dad - a retired farmer who was more than happy to be back out in the field - we started building the flower farm together.

Row by row, tuber by tuber, Dirt Road Dahlias slowly began to grow.

What started as a dream turned into a flower field with color,

beauty, and the joy that flowers bring to everyday life.

Growing the Field

Flowers have a way of making people happy.

They celebrate milestones, brighten someone’s day,
and bring a little beauty into everyone’s life. Being able to grow
and share that joy is the heart behind Dirt Road Dahlias.
